Hi, just wondering if anyone can recommend good places for dancing salsa/merengue/bachata in/around New York City on weekends (especially Fridays)...The main issues would be the patrons (must be decent people for the most part), the dance floor (reasonably large for the typical attendance, that is, not too crowded) and the physical location (decent neighbourhood, with good public transport options). I imagine there are many possibilities by Washington Heights and the Bronx, but of course not all may be suitable given above issues. Thanks.
