Humphries was involved in the trade almost entirely so that Orlando could shed some of the Turkoglu or Davis/Duhon/Richardson awful contracts for 1 yr of him.

He balked at the one year deal with Cleveland, though, causing that iteration of the deal to fall through, because he wanted a multi-year deal. Orlando can't possibly want him for 4 years, can they? Or will they work a deal without him and then the Nets renounce his rights?
