Congratulations to Cam Ryga and Renee Rosnes whose CD "Deep Cove" won the Outstanding Jazz Recording award at the Western Canadian Music Awards last night. Well deserved, in my opinion. It's a beautiful album.

Other worthy nominess were Brad Turner Trio - "Question the Answer", Diana Krall - "The Girl in the Other Room", Michelle Gregoire - "Reaching", and the Oliver Gannon Quartet - "That's What".

These are probably all available at Magic Flute and Cam's CD is also available from the CBC store.
