Here's a link to the article I was reading:

http://www.bankrate.com/finance/insu...surance-4.aspx

It's possible that I could have read something wrong, but when I googled an insurance breed restriction in PA, I got the same type of answers from other websites: "Only Pennsylvania and Michigan have laws that prohibit insurers from canceling or denying coverage based on breed, according to the Insurance Information Institute."

It goes on to say that they can raise your rates (understanably), and if your dog has bitten before, they can adjust rates or exclude your pet. But the way I'm reading it is implying that just because you say you have a pit bull/pit bull mix, you CAN NOT be denyed coverage!!

I wish I could find the law that prohibits this so I could prove the agent wrong!!!
