Default Older people and botox

Do you see anything wrong with this picture?

My mother always go, "why do all these old American women always getting botox to enhance their oldness (not youthfulness)? do they know that they will continue to age and sag? why do they want to be young pretty women? they need to accept the facts that they are old women because that's the natural part of being human."

Botox will only do you good if you start in your early twenties or thirties.

It would ever do any good. People who do it look plastic and fake.

I meant its long term effects on wrinkles.

I work for a plastic/reconstruction surgeon prn. I don't see the point of botox for older women who have the wrinkling because the damage is done to skin already. Only thing it's going to do is relax the muscles so the wrinkle can appear smoother. Now if you start botox while you are young then you should have less wrinkles when you are older .... unless you stop getting treatments or your skin care regimen sucks. I think it's exspensive and a waste of money because it does not last long and you have to get injections every couple of months, depending on the person. On another note botox is useful for other things too.
