Default Disqualified???
Did you notice when Haynesworth was thrown out of the game against Dallas the ref said.

There are 2 penalties, unnecessary roughness and throwing his helmet down and then he said

That player is disqualified.

That sounded weird as hell to me, is disqualified the proper term or should he have said ejected, kicked out, grounded on punishment something, disqualified just seemed odd to me.

Also did Haynesworth kick Gurode's helmet off and then give him the boot or was it off and he just took advantage.

30 stiches so the cut(s) must have been bad but it didnt look like he did a real stomp, more like laid a burner on his head.

You know thinking about this I dont remember the last time i saw an NFL player disqualified from a game.

I've heard the term used before in the NFL. I think it means the same thing.

They wanted to get away from "eject" because it sounded too similar to "erect."

I remember two players being disqualified from a game last year. First Monday Night Football game, Eagles at Falcons....Trotter and Mathis were both disqualified.

Good thing they weren't playing hide and seek. Then the phrase 'he's seen us' might have come into play...

Or if you get disqualified in a fishing contest, you have to kiss your basshole goodbye...

It's hard to know what's in there until you start pulling stuff out of it.
