Default Draft contracts
It's pretty ridiculous how much more money the first pick gets than say, even the 10th pick. It's especially ridiculous when a guy who's never played a down in the nfl will get more money than a good established veteran.

I think the draft spots need to be slotted... if you're picked here, you get this, end of story.

I doubt the players union would agree to it. I think its a good idea.

See, I think it should be kind of like the nba thing, where the vets want it as well. For example, in the NBA, because you're drafting a kid out of high school, he'll ride the bench taking up the spot of a vet who would contribute a lot more to the team.


Same theory here, the established vets aren't getting the money they should, because it's going to rookies who've never played a down in the nfl.
