I'm here peeps! Straight from PROMuscle...thank you Big A!

As for my first world post... Iraq has voted on it's Constitutiton and it looks like it passed. I'm very happy for Iraq and looking forward to trade and companies opening up in Iraq so that all of the people of the Great Country of Iraq can enjoy the life I've always had, mostly peace and a good job to buy the things I want.

Congrats Iraq! I hope our two Countries can be friends forever!

Buying the things they want? Yeah, right, at 3 US cents per hour they'll be getting around in Cadillacs by next week! ROFLMAO!

Time to give Fox News the flick, Storm Shadow.

At least they have a constitution now and not a sociopath running things. If they can keep from a civil war and stamp out the terrorists, then it's all good. The fact that Bush lied to us about why we were over there still sits in the back of my mind, but in the whole grand scheme of things, they are better off now. If only our government wasnt so corrupt and offering no bid contracts and jobs to friends who are unqualified it wouldn't all seem so deliberate.

Go in and win. None of the political manuvering. Attempting to please those with an opposing view won't work. If a man is elected on his aggressive handling of terrorists and threats to the United States, he should follow through rather than lose the faith of those who elected him.

Well Id grow up PISSED OFFF!!!! and looking for revenge.

Its 100% Bullshit we are even over there... I say Kill off the entire country
this Is WAR isnt it??? why So much carring and worrying about the future of these little Basterds who will grow up looking to get us back./:confused:

Kill off the entire country? You think they deserve Total Genocide? I think not...and in time and education... we will become friends. Capitalism makes friends out of alot of people whom never would have sat at the same table. As far as their economic situation...Jesus Fucking Christ Almighty... I'm not going to say this again... Rome wasn't built in a day and neither was the USA...give it time.

Iraq isnt Rome my friend.
I would like to congratulate Iraq as well!
Congrats for having your homes, schools, hospitals, churches, businesses blown all to hell in the name of "Freedom".
Congrats to all the children who have no mothers or fathers anymore because they died innocently ... by bombs brought in the name of "freedom".
Congrats to all the fathers who got hauled off to "concentration' camps (prison) and tourchered just because they LIVE in Iraq.
Congrats to all the MOTHERS and FATHERS who lost there children to those wonderful bombs dropped in the name of "freedom".
Congrats to all the people who have no choice but to join the Iraq police to get a job... only to be blown up by the people who HATE us for invading them.
Congrats to those same police men for getting paid 30 cent an hour to die for "freedom"
Congrats to all those perminatly maimed children who will never live a normal life because they are burnt or have there limbs torn off... all in the name of "freedom".
Congrats to all those women who lost there husbands because our government deemed EVERY Iraqi male a possible "enemy" and killed at will.
Congrats to all those Iraqi people who do not have running water, or power still!
Congrats to the new AMERICAN placed puppet government they just received.
Congrats to the new constitution that the AMERICAN government made them abide by.
Congrats to the fact the Iraqis get to walk down the street now and die on a daily basis because the people whom lost everything they have are attempting to fight back at a government that hides behind civilians... allowing them to die... all in the name of "freedom".
Congrats to the Iraqis because they get to spend all of the AMERICANs tax money to build the shit back that the Americans just destroyed!
Congrats to all the fact the Iraqis now are "Americanized" and actually have a fucking McDonalds now! Hmmm did they ask for that? Ahh.. hell they got it either way.
Congrats to the Iraqis because the Americans HAVE to stay there in order to maintain stability ... other wise a massive civil war would develop!
Most of all.... Congrats to all the Iraqi people for loosing all there precious OIL to the Americans! There economy didnt rely on those profits did it? Naaa!
Man, they have so much to be grateful for ... I bet they sure wish they where "Rome" ... but, they aint!

I will still say again... Rome was not built in a day.

The trouble is... YOU don't want it to be successful... because it would destroy all that you hate and all that you argued for.

Nooooo the trouble is... you don't want it to be successful because that would be optimistic and you'd look like a fool after arguing so much that it'll fail.

Bro i could care less if it failed or survived. I am only stating the obvious... the fact is, its FAILING. Its not looking any better.... and its not going to get any better if we leave.... if we stay we are screwed.... if we leave, they are screwed.
So... where is the positive and optimistic thinking suppose to come from?

That the people of Iraq who come to know freedom that resembles something more closly related to the freedoms we have.

It is still my belief that stability in the region by a new Iraq is actually welcomed by all the major powers in the world and that is why China, Russia, and other countries remain almost silent on the issue. Of course they are going to let us do and pay for the job, but it stability in the middle east is something enyone needs.

Saddam was a viscous, ruthless, individual who ruled by fear murder and intimidation.

Iran and syria were behind the 1983 Beruit bombing of our embassy and there is no reason to believe they are not just as active in the mischief in Iraq.

I am saddened as I know you are JJ by the loss of life on both sides and I watched as 2000 dead soldiers passed before my eyes recently.

But 2000 is nothing in comparision to the numbers of innocents that will die if the fanatical Islamics are allowed the ability to come together and create a weapon or a method of mass destruction.

I have also felt that if you remove the human element ( which may be immoral on my part ) that exercising of the military as we have done in the last 15 years has moved us and our capabilities that much farther ahead then those countries who stood back. We are top dog and I am glad, and who they gonna call??? France!! Germany!!

Look at what france had going on with 20 days of poor and muslim uprising. You can't apease fanatics, but the French apppear in their uppity state to not even beable to minmaly address the issues of poverty and racism that is so prevelant.

Not that we are so much better in this country, but I looked at the watts riots here as what you get when the seperation between the haves and the have nots become too great. France the country who wanted to stand for everything but didn't stand for anything has the potential for some serious problems internally. I expect they will see more bombings then we will.

JJ I appreciate the fact that you keep pointing us back to the human toll.

fact#1 the whole region HATES the USA more than id does/did saddam

fact#2 alquaida has never been more popular because of fact#1

fact#3 terrorism has never been easier now that the USA is trying to "invade" arab teritory with their "culture" and "democracy"

now when you look at the USA and what they can do realistically as far as their domestic problems are concerned (raging crime/obvious out of controll drugs problem/10.000-s gun deaths/moral decay/rising poverty/unemployed ect) you can get a good picture of what awaits the people of iraq if the terrorists were to stop today and if everybody in the region started to love the USA...

realistically the hate for the USA will only grow considering the chaos iraq has plummited in to...when the USA leaves iraq in maybe 10 years and like 9000 billion $ later iraq will fall in to civil war and the US puppet government left behind will lose...

i guess the moral of the story is that you cant get people to like you if you bomb/punish them for decades over the insane actions of 1 man (saddam) and the lies and political desparation of another (GWB)...alex

Ask anybody in iraq & I'll tell you now they'll say they would rather have saddam back in control. Yes it was horrible but much better than what they've got now. Their plan was never to bring freedom to iraq, there plan was to create civil war & break it up into several different factions. DIVIDE & RULE!! Things are not black & white they're shades of grey. Don't believe the bullshit propaganda you see on the news, do your own research. Look behind the movie screen.
People need to do there fucking homework & look for the truth, not what they're TOLD is the truth from CNN, FOX & ITN cause they're all on the government payroll!!

Storm: I think your original post had good intentions and I will be the first to say I feel that way as well.

Allbeef: Excellent post, I think you handled a difficult situation very well.

JJ: I don't think rehashing the same damn debate about "Why are we here?" is going to help things. Instead, focus on what we can do moving forward to help improve conditions in that region.
