Why should we care about criminals? If a person has been convicted of a committing a violent crime, should they be put to death? In our American Society, capital punishment is a highly debated subject at both the state and federal level. When discussing this topic we frequently hear, "What if it was someone you knew?", and "Who gives you the right to take a life? With more and more people suffering at the hands of violent criminals, what is our society to do? How should we handle the tasks of rehabilitation, and punishment? There is no easy answer to this question...what do you think?
