On the economic side of things I turned out to be slightly on the left...which surprised the hell out of me.
On the authoritarian/ libertarian scale I was definitely a Libertarian....which doesn't suprise me at all!

I was almost dead center on the damn chart. What the hell does that mean? It must just mean I'm extremely freakin' cool.

Actually Kerry is nothing but an Elitist liberal pig and that's not where he really is on that line.
I took a more comprehensive test on the political spectrum and I was further right than Bush... in fact... I fell directly in line with Allan Keyes. This test didn't go deep enough...most everything I answerd... I was never strong for or against...and one couldn't be as the question was too general and not specific. It would be impossible to say exactly "I strongly agree" "I strongly disagree" The one that stands out the most but they are all like this...
"Abortion should be illegal in all cases except for when the mother's life is at risk"
WTF? I can't answer that properly. I am against abortion... but there are other factors than the mother's life. How about if there is absolute proof that the baby is so deformed or retarded that it would be too hard on the child growing up in our society, or aids was passed on to the child or something else? There are many factors in this that even Congress doesn't take into account.
So when I answered the question.. I had to disagree with it because of how the question was phrased and this put me closer to the center...whereas if it were worded properly...it would have swung me further right. I think if President Bush took the exact same test I did.. he would be centered on it and I know he isn't.
Another... as far as the vertical axis... I rated in line with Hitler. Even though the majority of my studies are on Hitler, His rise and fall, and on Ancient Rome (Rise and Fall of), America's paralells... I know that it would be impossible for me to be in line with Hitler because too much liberty was given to the state and the state had too much control of the Private Sector. Not that I'm against it... it worked for them very well and they came out of the bottom of the barrel to become an economic giant to be respected...but.. that's not the culture that I'm acustomed too... I like our way. As for Germany back then.. well that region has always been pretty tribal in nature... so it worked for them. Now that we integrated them to our way... pretty much the generation that is alive now doesn't feel that tribal urge and has become an individual. I think... I'm kinda guessing here... I don't know if Tribalism can entirely be weeded out of the Germanic/Celtic blood line...even in America.
We are facing it in the mideast... Tribalism is a hard thing to change.
One of the greatest achievements in man's quest for Rule of Law, rights for the individual etc. was the creation of a diverse Gov't, a Democratic Republic designed to destroy tribal mentality. It worked for us.. it worked in Europe, Japan, S. Korea, etc... it will work in the mideast. Why do I believe this? because there was no more ruthless tribe on the planet than the Germanic and Celts.

Many of those questions are unclear and I found myself answering agree or disagree most of the time.
I knew I disagreed with the results. I didn't disagree with the part that indicated that I was a libertarian because I am very much for personal freedom. I just know that this was the first time I have been on the left of political center even if it was just a hair off center.
Let's take the abortion issue for example. I don't think that is anyone's business. That's between the individual and God in my opinion. So, I guess I am left of center on that issue. However, I am strongly in favor of the 2nd Amendments quarantee that we should have the right to keep and bear arms. Now, a citizen is an ass and commits a crime with a weapon, I believe he/she should get severe punishment.
I agree with your assessment of the test.

I don't think we should bring God into this matter 'cause I'll come back with... "then murder and every other crime should be between God and the purp". Abortion, legal or illegal is man's law...not God's.
