Republicans seek vote on Iraq withdrawal proposal
WASHINGTON (AP) -- House Republicans sought a showdown Friday with Democrats on a proposal by one of their most senior members to force an end to the U.S. deployment of troops in Iraq.
Rep. John Murtha, D-Pennsylvania, offered the resolution demanding a pullout.

The Terrorist Temptation
The Bush administration is so accustomed to torturing the truth, it can’t face the facts. (i am laughing my ass off ... ha ha ha)
Murtha’s outburst on Iraq has shown it is time to stop deluding ourselves.

That war in Iraq sure has helped those poor Iraqis out hasnt it?
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10099807/site/newsweek/
"Deaths and injuries are growing, with over 2,079 confirmed American deaths. Over 15,500 have been seriously injured and it is estimated that over 50,000 will suffer from battle fatigue. There have been reports of at least 30,000 Iraqi civilian deaths.” Meanwhile “our reconstruction efforts have been crippled by the security situation. Only $9 billion of the $18 billion appropriated for reconstruction has been spent. Unemployment remains at about 60 percent. Clean water is scarce. Only $500 million of the $2.2 billion appropriated for water projects have been spent. And most importantly, insurgent incidents have increased from about 150 per week to over 700 in the last year.”"
Man, i bet they are loving that Western "freedom" we gave them!
Shhhh iiiiittttt man, wake up.

""We used to have one reactionary dictator. Now we have tens of them springing up, who deny women the rights they had achieved before. Women are expected to walk around in veils and if they refuse, they can be beheaded in daylight."
Infrastructures destroyed
Apart from the war crimes, in which chemical weaponry was deployed against civilians and cluster bombs were deployed in civilian areas, apart from the shocking tactics of dropping bombs on houses and blasting the limbs off kids, the Bush regime purposefully destroyed civilian infrastructures. Why? Were these military targets? Or was it to give contracts to Cheney and his friends?
Who is responsible and accountable?
The tactic used by the Bush regime is to repeat that the Iraq policy was a resounding success because the people are now free. Free? To do what? They can't even go down the road for bread these days without fearing for their lives. Women can't walk around freely. They aren't even free to wear what they like.
Awwwww GREAT job MR BUSH! YOU DA MAN! U FREED ALL THOSE POOR PEOPLE... AND GUESS WHAT? THEY LOST MORE FREEDOM! DAMN U GOOD!

All my quality time is spent running my illegal drug trade :D
Some where in between all this... i eat 7 times a day and pump quality supplements into my ass.
Ah... now i am all tired.

So I assume it's the aliens that give you your supplements right?;) Well whatever they're giving you, it must be workin'. You still need to send me some pictures of bigfoot. I want to see which one of you is bigger. I would guess he's probably taller, but I bet you've got a lot of mass on him.

Yeah by demanding the US leave .... they are being very... Uhhhh what did you call them? Appreciative?
Duh! Not! By demanding we leave... means THEY DONT WANT US THERE - and didnt want us there to start with.
What... what what? you mean to tell me.... the free people dont want the great freedom fighters in there country? Well.... Geeee i fucking wonder why?
You know.... we CANT pull out of Iraq and the prez knows this.... that is why he is being so hard headed on setting a timeline to leave.... why you wonder?
Because that country is going to go straight to hell without the USA there to hold there hands.... and as soon as we do ADMIT defeat and leave, they are going to be in 100xs more trouble them with Saddam in power.
Oh.. btw ... where is that proof of Saddam moving all the WMD to another country? (They have to have them to move them - they didnt and dont)

It's normal that they want a time table...but even the Iraqi Gov't and the People do NOT want us to leave yet...so what you're celebrating means shit to anybody that's rational.

No what he truly cares about is to be remembered as the american hero that vanquished terrorists and fostered world peace. The great american prersident that stood tough agaist nay sayers and did the right thing.Instead he will be remembered as the worst and most abusive president since tricky D. A man that wasted innocent life on a whim. The man that ruined Iraq. The man that filled kegs full of powder all over ther middle east and lit the fuse.

great power is abused greatly...
democracy sucks just look at the most evolved democracy in the world and its result: GWB
people are politicaly ignorant...exploit them by giving them the "power to vote" LOL...
americans are starting to hate the world more and more because its more and more morally acceptable to them to bomb others to rubble so that they can feel "safe" ?!?
naturally the world hates americans more and more because nobody like a liar and a bully...
GWB supporters can pretend all they want but fact is that the USA has taken a giant step backwards in the fight against terrorism and world peace...
