i mean there's literally hundred's and possibly thousands of hours of DEDICATED research that has gone into this practice and to have some random jo just drop in and litterally cash in on our research i think its too easy for them... am i out of line for protecting our resource here? if i am then please correct me or make me understand....

maybe allbeef or big a can make this subforum invite only??

there will be eventually a time when Big a will have to lock this sucka down as there will be TOO much valuable info here. for just anyone to grab.

Well, if it is, please give me an invite.
I asked for the url.
I came here because I've been relying on luck, and I've been
around long enough to know luck runs out.
I like what I do, but I do see risking anymore then is necessary.

As for finding this place. Sometimes the best camouflage is higing in the open.
You don't hide unless you have something to hide.
Hell, the search string Discuss+World+Issues gives too much info.
The only problem I see is the connection between this board and it's banners on open source boards.

I think everyone would feel more comfortable participating if it wasnt available to just anyone.

Yeah, maybe have the sub-fourm "invite only" like on that VIP board.

I would be more concerned about trolls coming onto this site, who then build up a solid rep over time---then announce they found a great, golden source for fake IDs (even though they are THAT source, and end up scamming tons of people on this site).

I agree. I limit my posting these days on topics of this nature to the private section of a private board. And even still I ask that none of the discussion in that forum be reposted elsewhere. The more people informed the better, but certain topics belong behind closed doors in my opinion. Big Brother does not need any more help that he already has. Not that any of this information is top secret, but when you reach a high level of security, mentioning what, how, when, where you're using is simply helping big brother in two ways. 1. they find out about the product, procedure, protocol, etc and 2. they start formulating their own techniques to try and counteract the security measures you've put into place.

Can Big A make a ruling on this?

How can you control who gets in the private forum? You cannot. A private forum is even more dangerous as people would relax in it thinking it's safe, when the safety of it is just an illusion.

Yeah, you're right about that. The security forum as is, is still a great forum for discussing security issues.
