Nice. What lens? Sigma 50-150/2.8? The trouble was that it was waaay heavy on the D90, and the balance was off, resulting in camera shake. I purchased a Zeikos grip for the D90, and stuffed it full of 6 Eneloops. That gave me an extra 300g on the camera side, as well as one more finger for the normal grip, and a very comfortable portrait grip. Now I have no trouble handholding the 50-150, and see that it's a superb lens. Mine also doesn't suffer from any misfocus at all. Even at 150mm @ f/2.8, it still focuses perfectly. Interestingly, I find the camera much easier to hold now, despite the weight increase. |

Awesome, SIGMA ftw !
I added a flash diffuser to my camera setup, unbelieveable lighting improvement [yes]. RPS FlexiDome Flash Diffuser model RS-DF100. I know its a bit bulky (flexible plastic though), but the results far outweigh the trouble to carry it around. Sure beats the simple stupid diffusor that just cups over the end (got one as backup) or the weird paper ones ppl duct-tape to theirs (i can buy chinese food and use their container). |
