Well the new sigma lens, takes better pics than the older nikon lens. Here's a few using the new lens.

Neat pics

A few criticisms:

• The shell pic seems like it has too much glow

• I'd like the fence pic more if the subject was centered and/or more distinct, maybe a whole leaf rather than a piece of it stuck in the fence.

• The Pulley is cool but I would like it better if more of the pulley was in focus.

• I like the chain picture though, the only thing I'd do is crop a bit on the right side.

Just thoughts. I do like all the pictures though, maybe all the pro's will disagree with me and you'd have some perfect pics. ;)

shell pic was cropped some, but the glow and whatever else, is from actual pic.

fence pic i aint sure what to think of it. but was sitting tthere on the hill so shot a few pics of it.

the damn puley, for some reason the camera selected that piece of metal onthe right of the pulley to focus on? BAH!

the chains, those are fun when the girlfriend gets outta line? [thumbup] OK OK i made that up

Hm - perhaps I just haven't seen grass quite like that. It looks glowy, and white in some spots.

Are you shooting these on Auto or using manual settings?

:) Oh okay, but, that is called swiss moss. Also, that is the ONLY splotch of it we have hehehe. why? I have no idea why it's there.
