Default Which Children's Books Do You Remember Reading?
I'm listening to this show on the public radio station, and they're discussing children's books. This got me thinking, what were your favorite children's books growing up?

Some of mine were:
Tales of the Fourth Grade Nothing
The Witch of Blackbird Pond
Sweet Pickles Series
The Beatrix Potter series
The Ramona Quimby series by Beverly Cleary

Hi Molly, glad you started this topic! My mothers' group read the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series a couple years ago and it got us into some wonderful discussions of children's books.

My favorites were: (off the top of my head)

Little House on the Prairie
Anne of Green Gables
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory / anything by Roald Dahl --- we just got this as an audio book and listened to it on a road trip -- my 4 year old loved it and I'm so glad she is big enough for audio books!

Lion the Witch & the Wardrobe
The Three Investigator series
The Secret Seven series (Enid Blyton)
The Hardy Boys series
The Jennings series (English school novels by Anthony Buckeridge)
Biggles series (I have just about all of the series of about 90. Recently sold one for about 300 British pounds.)
