Im wanting to start palying the electric guitar. Can anyone reccommend a good guitar to start out on? That being said, I really wish I had gotten a Les Paul styled guitar at first. As much as I always loved the Stratocaster body style, I found the Les Paul body to be more comfortable to play. I would really highly recommend you go to your local shop and talk to the guys there and see if they will let you play with the guitars a bit. They can help guide you through what you want in your first guitar, as it can really spoil your desire to learn if you get a guitar that is subpar to learn on. Depending how much money you want to spend, getting an acoustic guitar, or a hollow body electric can be rewarding as you don't need to be near an amp to have a nice sound come out of them. |
