Default What to do when bored? Play with photoshop!

I did finish it and clean up the little mistakes. But it was a really simple thing to occupy a few minutes of my time. The eye is one I found on the net, and the speedo is an actual shot from inside my TransAm at speed. (Closed course, professional drivers only).

Nice. Why not blur the outside of the speedometer though- it would give it a more natural look blended into the eye. (Mainly on the left side)

Very nice! a suggestion: wouldnt it be more "realistic" to make the speedo mirrored?
So you looking at the speed and its "reflected" in the eye.

Somehow it seems to me that it stands out too much.

But again very nice for a bored photochop!

Edit: just figured why i wanted to see it in mirror when i looked at the image (first thought i had when i saw it).
The eyelash is mirrored!

I did add a bit of a radial blur to the image in the final version. But I'm at work right now and can't update it.

As for mirroring it, yeah, technically I should if i was doing it to be a reflection of the original. But I'm happy with it the way it is.

You could always clip to another layer with a gradient.

Didnt mean it for technical reasons cuz then the nagle, reflection of world and lots of other stuff would be incorrect [rolleyes]

I just meant for the feeling of the pic... my feeling
But yeah... this is the kinda stuff that gives inspiration!

I don't have the motivation to do it when I can just go home and resave the image.
