Since there seems to be a bunch of polling and other such history related talk going around, why not do something with music too? Now, a poll won't work- there are too many artists, tastes, etc... so instead, let us make threads concerning classic albums that you love, and that everyone should hear even if they aren't or don't know if they are fans. The threads will be personal reviews, maybe some history, and maybe some music suggestions concerning the artist's back catalog. This would be an interesting way to learn about new music, and to be able to share your music with others. Now concerning vintage- I think any age should be good to go, however perhaps an emphasis on the older and more forgotten or just unheard of by younger audiences type selections should be preferred. Not only can the older stuff be picked up in the used bin, but often times there is an existing catalog that leads to more of the good stuff

I'll try and get one going in the next few days, as an example, but anyone
is welcome to go right ahead and do something. Anything is up, but remember, the purpose isn't to alienate or thread crap on a particular artists- its about learning about the music from others- even if you don't like it, someone does, and it is usually for a reason. Let's get to work!
