It's always like that, I think it's due to so many people accessing the server at once.
Browsing, downloading etc.

GWRIeEQp 07-04-2007 01:49 AM

normally not that slow but atm i dont know whats up Oo

krasniyluch 07-04-2007 03:59 AM

I think it's a pretty moody picture, and it's not done in a style that usually appeals to me, but that doesn't mean that it's not good. I happen to think that with a slightly sharper, better defined focal point, it would be very nice. A b/w conversion might not hurt either. [yes]

DextExexy 07-04-2007 04:54 AM

well sharper at that distance is a bit hard but i will try to hold it a bit calmer ;) black and white looks good too i agree with you ;) maybe ill reupload it as b/w

thanks

I don't know about you guys but DeviantArt has always been REALLY quick for me. Never had any issues with it.

Anyway, nice pic! Good angle, and colour composition. What kind of post did you perform?

skupaemauto 07-04-2007 05:22 PM

just highered the contrast and lowered the gamma a lot ;)

looks great on almost every pic :P

edit: DA was really slow yesterday in the evenening.. actually its fast like hell ^^

What does your photography portray? What was the underlying thematic idea in your head when you took these pictures and put them together?

ArrichMer 07-21-2007 08:06 AM

I can't find any flaw in your most recent collage, mate. I like really all the pictures, and I think they're photographically sound (you may want to watch the blown highlights on the grating in images 2 and 4 though); hell, I even like the lomo-y effect. Nice work!

well i dont understand everything you are saying but thanks a lot http://futuremark.yougamers.com/foru...cons/smile.gif

Tndfpcin 07-21-2007 02:04 PM

haha, I was just pointing out that on some of the tracks in pictures 2 and 4, the areas where actual sun did get in were overexposed to the point where all pixel data was lost. In that case you're really limited by the dynamic range of your camera's sensor, so I wouldn't really worry about it.

The Lomo effect can be simulated in PS quite easily; it's actually one that you'll find in DA photos quite frequently. This page will give you some examples of the technique.

arcalmanard 07-26-2007 06:09 PM

I like the idea!
I left you a comment under astroguy. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/smile1.gif
