After reading this thread http://www.futuremark.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17332, realised that there is amazing creative talent here ( not that I didn' t already know ) So was wondering if any of you guys could make me a logo, actually possibly 2. One would be for my new recording studio ( a home thing but still ) Would like it to represent cool attitude rock, r&b and texas rock style music . The name of the studio is " LAYCE Studio ". Also, if interested, a band logo would be nice, I'ld like to outdo my band mates hehehehe. Band name " The Velvet Dogs "

Any designer that knows what they're doing will not make a logo for free. If you would like to discuss a budget, I'm sure more people would respond.

Good point, but I'm mostly looking for amateur work as I have no talent in this field, more like a little project. This is a home studio for myself, not a business, but point well taken, I,ll give Photoshop a learning try

Hey, I never did a "pro logo" but I can try this evening.
You make most simple logo with defined collor and text, and PM to me, and I will do my best to make that in 3D or so.

I love doing logos. I am busy though. It might take me until tomorrow to get time to do it, but, give me an hour worth freetime somewhere of time and you won't be sorry. [thumbup]

Actually I now have a better idea of what I like, something like In business card format, but with the font used in the 3rd Layce design of the second batch, that gradient grey one. If that is at all possible I think that would be great.

I got to give Photoshop a get go, I guess I'm just a lazy son-of-a-gun[rolleyes]

I thought that one looked like bundled clipart from MS Word. I thought the ones from blinddonkey were much better and more professional looking. (No offense, the ones from blinddonkey were just very good)

Well actually that's what was I was saying, the gradient grey one is really nice, but maybe in a concept of a business card/logo , a bit like 900's, with a certain graphic indication of music.

Well, I do this for a living. But, I will always help out a fellow Onion or FM member for free, or cheap or something.

Anyway, thanks for the complements. I would like a chance to refine my logo ideas, but, unfortunately I am working all day, and then Lost is on tonight, so, it won't be until later...

The reason I do it for free for onions is that you can't afford me otherwise...

Well you do well so be all as pretentious as you want, I love the work, and also the Velvet Dogs one too, actually all of them, I would be hard pressed to choose the best, they are all very very nice.

Lots of good sig makers just stopped making them as well, its kinda weird
