The June-voting hasnt started yet..as the guy who was supposed to do the poll hasn't showed up.
I decided to do the poll this week but there are still limits for making a poll.. for example max 20 voting options..and there are like 50 photo's

Why not split the poll into 2 (or 3) threads?

People can visit each thread, vote for the one photo they like the most - then the overall winner can be collated across the 2 or 3 threads.

Your right it is stupid.

I cant see them changing it just for us though.

Unless someone can host them and number them. Just post the link and ask for people to vote for the number they like the most.

But when are we starting the july one or are we giving it a miss.

I think we also need a poll over how long we have these things go on. Im all for the 10 days of piccys and 4 days for voting.

A slightly shorter timescale I think would be better, as then the number of submissions would be more managable.

Changing the poll limits I do not believe is as straightforward as you might think - but thats a question for an admin, not me!

As for a July competition, I guess it depends how quickly (if) we get some form of poll up for the June submissions.

Having said that, giving July a miss will hardly be the end of the world.....

Guys, it was me that was soppose to setup the poll. I however said in Mays poll on the new forum I won't be doing it anymore. It was extremely simple to do on the old boards, and as DuranXL found out it's a hassle to get it setup for this kind of competition. It's just not thumbnail friendly, and there is a limit to how many people can be on it.

Fix the poll system so it's like the old boards and I'd gladly do it again. It's just a hassle that I would rather not deal with. Maybe DuranXL can take it over.

Well the thumbnail thing isn't THAT bad once you get used to it.. But it's not worth making the poll if it needs 3 threads etc.
