Is it possible to get deleted pics of a formatted SD memory card?

Yes you can, maybe around 60-80% data can be recovered. Well that's based on my experienced because i've accidently format a SD card last time http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/unsure1.gif

OK, how do I go about it?

OK just tired smart media recovery and it can't see my card as it doesn't show as a drive - Just a camera in my computer.

I am guessing that if I have overwritten the card, previous data is not recoverable?

Ouch. A large portion is probably forever missing now.
