Altough I don't know too many leaves or branches that hang up.

The DoF is perfect in that shot, really off sets the background with the light coming through the tree's

UltraSearchs 06-10-2006 07:33 AM

That is a great shot! It's really a shame about the twig just parallel to it, could you shop it out? I only say that because everything else is perfect. Pin sharp and a great expression. Thanks for sharing.

Thats because they "grow" upwards, id like to see something hang upwards but i dont think that will happen in my life time http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/tongue1.gif.

Thats a really nice shot, though it does seem to have an unusually long body for a squirrel http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/blink1.gif

Hum.... I think it would be a combination of their tongues and noes.

Squirrels taste like chicken!
I know cos I've eaten them and almost everything else you can legally shoot in the UK.
Eaten hedgehog (although I did'nt need to shoot them, obviously!).
You might be surprised but hedgehogs are dead easy to cook, all you need is a good fire thats burnt down to the embers, you then gut the h/hog, clean it out, cover it in mud, so its covered in a ball, then you stick it in the fire and cover it with the embers, leave it for an hour or so, then peel off the mud and all the spiky bits come away with the mud.
Tastes just like chicken too.
Yummy!

If you try to eat hedgehogs in Sweden, you'd end up in prison. They are a considered endangered over here, so hunting is a no no.

Cute squirrel, though. And a damn good pic![thumbup] [thumbup]

I don't eat them now though, but back in my younger days, I used to do a lot of air rifle shooting, and went on a few survival courses (just cos they were fun to do).
I mostly ate rabbit, especially in a nice curry!
