Default Is there any way...
To make this pic have huge resolution or make it so if I blow it up on a print out it won't look like crap? Or if anybody know's where a super high resolution version of this is?

I tink the best way is to disguise the enlargement with perhaps some film grain or soemthing liek i have done here.

That doesn't look bad, could you do that same technique with the pic in my first post?

Hmmmmmm, that's pretty cool but I don't think it'll work hehe. I'm just trying to get a really high quality version of that pic so i can make a giant printout.

Could you just play the DVD on your PC at a high resolution? I'm sure it does some kind of upsampling. Then capture that?

Hmm, not sure if that'll work but I can give it a shot.

Nah it didn't work right for me at least, I was able to capture and save the image but as soon as I closed the DVD the image went to a black screen, weird...

play the dvd in VLC (google it)

it has a screen capture feature. (see the below example from my band of brothers dvd's)

Ok, I took a snapshot, but can't find where the image is saved at, and have looked through all the VLC folders, did I do something wrong? I just paused it on the correct frame and clicked snapshot.

Well it worked but the pic turned out incredibly dark compared to the original, anyway to fix that? It's 220kb in size compared to the 20kb of the original size, so I think the high resolution worked.

1280x1024, and I just looked at the pic, it's only 853x480 pixels versus the 600x338 of the original, so it wasn't much different after all, hmm..
