I wasn't sure where to post this (Thai for Beginners, Thai Movies, Thailand Life and Culture) so feel free to move where it makes sense.

I started to watch the movie ÃÑ¡¨Ñ§ last night and there was a very funny scene with a police check point near the Burmese border. The police officer was trying to determine who was actually Thai. The main character didn't have any papers and had no way to prove she was Thai.

The man screamed at her that she needed to prove she was Thai.

The woman quickly started singing à¾Å§ªÒµÔ

He said...that doesn't prove you're Thai.... prove to me you're Thai.

The woman got scared and quickly began to recite: ¡.ä¡è ¢.ä¢è £.£Ç´ ÏÅÏ

He still said, no, that didn't prove she was Thai.

Finally she sang the alphabet song: ¡ àÍë ¡ ä¡è ¢ ä¢èã¹àÅéÒ £ £Ç´¢Í§àÃÒ ÏÅÏ

It was very cute!

It makes me wonder...to any Thais that are reading this....without papers, how would you prove you were Thai?
