Well in India, relatives leave the bodies of there dead, in what I would describe as a circular building, with low walls, and no roof, so the Vultures can sit on the walls, and swoop down and start eating the dead.

I think only one ethnic/ religious group in India do this.

I think you may possibly be confusing India with Tibet ("Sky Burial"). Cremation is normal for Hindus and Sikhs, burial for Muslims in India.

When I was riding through Bangkoks many streets, with my wife, I did not see even ONE cemetery. When I asked her why there are no cemeteries in Bkk., she did not even know what a cemetery is...I have a map of Bkk. and look as much as I want I can`t see one cemetery there.So what happens with dead in Bkk.-they all get cremated?...or there are cemeteries outside the city?...do all Buddhist cremate their dead?...no burrials?...

Well, since you asked about BKK, I would imagine that most Thai are cremated, Chinese seem to bury, but I don't hang around there so don't know about cemeteries.
But in other places there seems to be different ways, even for Buddhists.

When I was last with my fiance and we were driving around up country we passed a cemetary and she pointed it out. Saying it was chinese and there were a lot of chinese in that area. I asked what thais did and she said they were cremated.

There are plenty of cemataries in Bangkok. Yes, they are mostly for the older Chinese and ones who adhere to their Chinese beliefs.

Personaly I would not object to have my remains cremated, and I think it is the most sanitary way of disposing of a dead body. But lot of people I know STRONLY object to such funerals-generaly it goes with individuals religious upbringing-an old man from my church gets fired up, and gets all burned up when he hears that some of his old friend died, and his children got him cremated- because of the cheaper funeral price. But in reality if ALL the dead in the past were cremated, look how much we living would have missed-all those mummies from Egypt & other part of the world, we living have learned a lot from the dead...once a body is burned...there is no trace of the person, like he/she had never lived in this world.... ...well to each their own...

I'm not sure what Muslims do in Thailand. Elsewhere I think they generally bury their dead. They bury them in Thailand as well... Muslim cemetaries abound.

It is our belief. Buddhists do not attach to the body, once a person died, we let go. The trace of the person is in our hearts and memories.

Yes, Buddhists cremate their dead.
