We always hear that modst people in Thailand only earn 6,000 Baht a month. My wife has just taken a job as a waitress in a Thai-Farang restaurant and is getting far less thanthis rate. Just wondered if anyone knows if it is common for lower wages?

I'm not sure yet of her working hours and days but her wage works out a 25 working days a month at the minimum wage for the Province.
