If not the Global Financial Crisis impacting on Small Business Owners (SBOs) in Australia, it's our freakish weather.
Businesses are taking hits - and while some are doing well no matter what, many businesses could do with a helping hand. The Profit Frog is currently putting together a Small Business Information Evening program for Melbourne and country Victorian business owners. It is anticipated that the schedule will include 2 x90minute sessons per week every second week. The intention of this schedule is to allow business owners to attend on evenings that better fit their own calendar. The weekday evening program will most likely be a pre-cursor to a more significant half-day program further down the track. Topics to be presented will include customer service; customer management programs (databases); marketing vs advertisting; leverage; and the internet. Each 90-minute session will incur a nominal fee (less than $100.00). Attendees will receive an "Attendee Pack" with useful promotion items - these may include fridge magnets, pens, free services, discounts to services, or other "giftbag" sized items. There will be further information made available here as the program comes together - including when, and venues, as well as business partnership opportunities. The partnership opportunities are for select businesses to partner with The Profit Frog to present the information sessions OR to provide items for the gift bags, or other suitable arrangements. Ideally, a suitable business partner would be a business that offers services or products to other businesses - accountants, printings co's, cleaning co's, caterers... all kinds of B2Bs. Updates regarding Small Business Information Evenings - starting out in the West and North of Melbourne - will be featured here. |
