You're smoking something Donks, as bad as JT was, why would you want to bring back a relic.? I think it was the year they raced the China GP and JV had replaced JT because he sucked, plus he'd pissed Flavio off. JV came over the radio and asked where he was losing time and his race engineer said "everywhere"

I stand by my statement:
I'd even consider giving JV a go before Trulli
No chance I'd consider giving either a go though
plus JT is also a relic
err sorry pino

Oh no, not this "Rossi to Ferrari" story again

It's like the two JV's. Verstappen was always going to get a great F1 drive one day, and Villeneuve was (still is!) going to make a return to F1, if you believed the forum chatter that is.

Massa gets paid big $$$ to drive for Ferrari.

Maldonado gets Chavez to pay big backs to Williams so he can drive.

Just saying.

Mal does'nt deserve his seat IMO, he is average at best and got very lucky to score a win. Since then he has demonstrated a startling lack of race-craft, and has been outright donkey for this season.

Massa has been rogered royally by the Ferrari political system, to a point where he is the whipping boy for the "meedja" and other unkind folks

Trouble is he might get bored and announce it to everyone before the seasons end

Maldonado crashes during 'hero's welcome' run - Yahoo! Eurosport UK

Maldonado, visiting his home country for the first time since becoming Venezuela's first grand prix winner, was due to complete a 12-lap run on the Fuerte Tiunas military parade ground in front of 20,000 fans and numerous political and military VIPs, with team owner Sir Frank Williams and shareholder Toto Wolff also present.
But Maldonado was caught out by the extremely bumpy surface of the show ground and spun his Williams FW33, damaging its suspension on the roadside kerbing

I laughed when I read that. Hardly surprising though.

Poor guy .
Just when everyone is questioning his abilities as an F1 driver , he does this in front of the home crowd .

In his defence , it looks like he had a few things going against him here .
Firstly , it's a cement surface , and doesn't look like it was swept at all , to ready the area for the demo .

Secondly , from the video , it looks to be at the end of a straight , meant to be able to demonstrate speed . Cones are set , restricting his corner entry , far from the crowd on the inside , making it a hard line to take at much more than a snail's pace .

Thirdly , a short time later it rained , ending all the fun , so it's not unlikely that the temperature was changing rapidly at the time he went out .

All that said , he looked a total goon on this one , at a time when there's not a lot of other news to talk about .
Again , he misjudged the grip .

I remember Hamilton crashed a kart in his debut F1 season by pushing it too far, and he looked like a fool but took it well and laughed it off. In these types of situations you need a sense of humour and if you can't see the funny side, you're in the wrong sport.

Rossi would bitch like a little girl about not having the best car. One of the biggest crybabies in any sport.

I've never got that impression at all. He's no Casey Stoner when it comes to complaining IMO.
