Default Which car would be the most fun?
Here's a few cars I'm considering. Not, these ones in particular, but these models:

2000 Nissan Maxima

1998 Acura CL

1994 Acura Vigor

1997 Infiniti I30

From experience with cars, I vote for Acura CL ( Luxury division of Honda)

I have an Infiniti at the moment (SUV) and have had lots of problems. Cost of repair is ridiculously over the top

The I-Series Infinitis are pretty reliable, but I've heard about the parts being unnecessarily high. The CL is cool, but the V6 models are only available in automatic. The 4-cylinder is pretty wimpy, so it's economical, but the fun factor slips. The Acura Vigor is really cool because it has the rare 5-cylinder and was available in a 5-speed. Unfortunately, Acura only built it for 3 years and in very low numbers.

I wouldn't go w/ any of those for an older car. If I was going w/ a car over 10 years old it'd be a Toyota.

Toyota makes reliable cars, not fun cars. One of the only fun cars they've ever built was the MR2, but it only seats 2 and it's rear-wheel-drive. I need something I can drive through the winter, too.

Silly me...I thought you'd like a car that might actually run for a decent amount of time.

Sometimes people think Toyota is the only company to make reliable cars. It isn't true. There are many Nissan, Honda, and Mazda models just as reliable as anything Toyota put out. Hell, even Ford and Chevrolet get it right, on occasion. With used cars, it's more important to know who owned it before and how well did they maintain it (or how much did they abuse it). I give every car a lenghty test drive and know what I should expect before I get behind the wheel of any particular model because I do the research.

I'm not some people. Honda and Nissan both put out some very reliable products as well. I mean, if we're just talking about the fun factor...well, I'd go w/ the Infiniti out of the given choices.

So far, I've driven the Vigor and the Maxima. Both were quite fun and sporty, but I'm expecting the other 2 to be a little less. Yet, a couple of people think the Infiniti would be #1. I'm still looking for one to test drive.

I like Nissan Maxima as they have a good track record-but I don't trust Nissan cars that much. Had horrible experience(s) with Nissan and Infiniti ( luxury div. of Nissan ) Therefore i voted for Acura as they're more reliable. If reliability is what you're after

I may be looking at a Mazda MX-6 tomorrow. I don't have a pic of the specific one, but it's blue with leather interior and the V6. The owner's only asking $1900 and the MX-6 is the Ford Probe's twin. Even though I've been considering sedans, a sporty coupe isn't out of the question. I've owned a '96 Probe GT and loved it. I've been curious about Audis, too. The all-wheel-drive system is highly desirable here, but I know Audi parts are ridiculously high. Anybody own one before? I've been researching A4's and the 90 series.

Well, it looks like I won't be looking at an MX-6 just yet. The low-mileage one sold the day after the ad went up on Craig's list. It didn't even have a pic! The owner had it priced right for a quick sale. I'll just keep looking. I'm still in the test driving and researching phase anyway.

I'm going to have to do an update. My want list has changed and shopping is getting more serious. Fun is still a factor, as well as having a manual trans, but my tastes are bouncing around from carlike SUVs to 4-cylinder convertibles. Decisions, decisions.
