Nope, If it were me, I'd stick with a brand you know. Then again, it may be the best muffler you've ever had. Who knows.

i could only hear the intake between shifts or real low rpms at first. now, with only 2 cats i hear more engine noise, including louder intake.

for example, in a tunnel or under bridge area, hit the gas and it is scary loud exhaust note, idle though and you hear the intake more than with all the cats.

hope it makes sense.

um... this is a really old thread...

yep i have the magnaflows now...
i dont want to make it louder right now... if i ever get a new cam or whatever, then maybe i would - but for now its ok.

by the way AB did the cai make your magnaflows sound any different or was there not much of a change?

Default anyone hear of this muffler?
a friend of my fathers was talking to me about doing some stuff with my car, i trust him pretty much, he has an SS or two (94 i think), a vette, dunno what else, does work on them and so forth. anyway for exhasut he is reffering to a guy he usually uses or that stuff ( i guess he doesnt do exhasut himself , but he said this is the guy he goes to for his own cars. on his SS he has flowmasters as far as iknow)

anyway, he said the guy suggested a muffler brand called vortex. its still my choice so its not like im tied to use this one, but i havent heard of it myself so i waswsondering if anyone else knows about it?
