Default SYM & HCTP Bumpvideo
YouTube Player

This is a video me and a friend made. Any kind of feedback is appriciated, if there was anything particulary good or bad with this video do feel free to point it out.

We chose to work with these older games because the Smackdown games have been crap ever since they started the Smackdown vs Raw series. They started making the games more limited, removed things and just less fun to play alltogether.

Making videos with older Smackdown games is a completely different deal then making videos with never games. These older games are actually fun to play so you play them for fun, and you come up with cool shit while playing the game.
With the newer games you never play them because they just aren't fun to play and if you want to make a bumpvideo you just sit and look through the movelist in CAM and try to think of ideas.

Spread the video around if you'd like.

Pretty damn good! I don't know if anyone here is familiar with your work, but you're nice with yours, son! I like your bump videos. Daanesh, however, can suck a dick! I hate that guy. I hope he kicks the bucket, someday.

Thanks dude.

Man that's a great video, how long does it take you to set these moves up? Position the characters and hitting the right move to hit on a certain part of the game has to be strenuous.

Actually I don't. But it's always lovely to be reminded of it.

Thanks.

Well, it depends. Some things go relativly quick, sometimes we sit for 45 minutes and work on the same spot. Haha. We tend to get picky with things, if Im not happy with how one of us landed in a double dive spot or how the opponent landed in a spot then we redo it until we both think it looks satisfactory. I don't want half-assed stuff.

We worked pretty hard on this video and Im happy with the result. There were some times when I thought "Gah we're never gonna get the selling right on this" but we kept trying and it came out even better then what we were gonna settle for at first.

The double powerbomb spot is a good example of that, so is the double jump off the Rebellion stage. The powerbomb spot needed to have the opponents land a certain way on the tables. And the Rebellion spot needed for us to jump off at the same time AND land a certain way on the table. When those happened I was like "Whoa, that's it. That's perfect".

It took a good bit of patience and persistence to get it right but it's worth it to have a really good looking spot in your video. Because that spot is always gonna be there.

You know... I never wanted to admit in the past how good your videos were because the whole Teryo Law thing seemed overrated to me. Maybe it was jealously that the internet bows down and practically sucks on your toes and I just never understood why. But yeah, you knew(know) what you were doing and, while I didn't bow to you like others did, I had commented on your videos and respected what you were able to do. And I can honestly say that when you posted that one video that you said would be your last and then seemingly disappeared off the face of the earth... I missed you for awhile, but I got over it :P

I haven't watched the video that's in this topic, but there was this one thing you'd always do... I wanna say it was an F5 from one of the boys and then the other would run in and Gore the hell outta the guy immediately after the impact. I could be wrong about the setup move but that was the greatest thing ever. EVAR.

Haha, well then, you should have no problem admitting my greatness now that I am a subscriberless nobody.

Thanks though. And I feel you, I was the same way with the Kill Bill and Lord of The Ring movies. There was so much hype around them that I was automatically turned off. I've grown out of that kind of mindset now, still haven't gotten around to watching those Kill Bill movies though.

I appriciate you taking the time and explaining your perspective to me, that's always interesting to hear. What people think and how they think regarding your work. As for that double team you mentioned which you can't recall, Im pretty sure that you're referring to the Bulldog & Spear combo (Lawyu Crush) that we always used to do?

Particularly in this video.

Which one do you mean mate? Only one that comes to mind is that last 07-video I made which was the ending of my storyline series.

Damn, that might've been it, the Bulldog and Spear combo. I could've sworn it was a Finisher that set up the Spear but it's been a long time since I've seen any of these vids so that may have been the one. The timing on those moves is off the wall.

As for that last video I saw, I could be mistaking it for another video but I believe it was the one that had Marilyn Manson - "This is the New Shit" playing. Like I said, I could be confusing it with another but that was the last of your vids I'd seen before you made the topic. The only time I'd even heard mention of you in-between then and you making this topic now was some guy on Caws.ws posting CAWs of your Boyz for 08 I believe. They were wearing Indian feathers on their heads and some clown-like makeup. Dunno if you actually had anything to do with actually creating them but...

Thanks mate. The timing feels like it's more Kerio's part really. Perhaps it is some of the other combos in the video you're thinking about? We did use some finisher into Gore combos too, like the Bubba Cutter into Gore.

WHAT THE HELL man, that was like the third video I ever made, haha. "Smackdown 5 - The Final Chapter". Then the video after that is ironically named "SVR06 - Closing a Chapter" I just noticed.
I used to say "this vid is gonna be my last" often back then because I didn't really think that I could come up with any more ideas after I had finished a video. Can't believe you haven't seen any of my other stuff though, there's been a shitload of videos after that.

There's like 30 bumpvids uploaded on my channel. Check them out if you like that kind of stuff.

And may I ask BTW, where is it that you saw my videos to begin with?

They were wearing Indian feathers on their heads and some clown-like makeup. Dunno if you actually had anything to do with actually creating them but...
XD
Those were mine and Kerios. Yeah. Our look has kinda evolved throughout the years, particularly Teryos.

Third video, XD. Alright, never mind then. I guess you didn't fall off the face of the earth but instead I managed to find a way to slip away from the massive Lawyu bomb dropped across the net.

As for where I was when I first saw one of your vids... pfft, couldn't tell you. I was probably one of the kajillion efed boards I'd post on. Naturally the Smackdown series was what brought us together. One of them must've posted a vid or two. Could've been anywhere from 3 to 6 years ago but I don't recall
