I like Russia's ability to create and make millitary parades. You can say "we have the best army" but they sure know how to show it.

Although I must say the way the Russians defeated the Nazis was really intelligent...Making them weak from hunger and cold not to mention lack of supply and then charging in a attacking when half the army had already died and the other half was to weak to fight.....Now that is using your brain...and knowledge of your own country[thumbup]

Operation Barbarossa was doomed from the start mostly because Russia learned from the defeat of the other nations by Germany and didn't place all their defenses at their outermost border.

They had several fallback positions going all the way up to Moscow, and the harsh weather arrived in their favour.

Then the Russians pushed forwards and never looked back.
