All gave some... some gave all.

To those who have both served our country and their family and friends supporting them... God Bless You!!! [thumbup]

just wanted to put a shout out to my dad, uncles and grandfather who served our country with honor...

freedom does come with a high price but sometimes it's a hard pill to swallow..

a special prayer and thanks to all our members here who have served or had family that served in the military's from all over the globe..

Glad to serve. Military life does come w/ huge sacrifices, I completely agree. I relocate every 2/3 years and deploy for up to 8 months here in the USAF.

God Bless you!

Ahh .. we have that every November 11th.. and wear poppies here. But regardless, Im very respectfull of the American Military to for obvious reasons.. and always thankful for the service they give...

.. So for any of them (or their families) who read this, THANK YOU!

EDIT: As a side note for others.. My girlfriend and I like to get coffee at starbucks and you know various coffee shops. Occasionally we see Military personel in there and always insist on buying what ever they are having. It's not that often really but.. It's a sign of apreciation and usually seems to perk them up. So hey if you happen to run into any .. it's a nice gesture to make and they feel apreciated.

Sometimes it's the little things that count

Without soldiers there wouldn't be war.

Ya well on both sides..A country always need some military as defense, not to attack..

Correct, as we would all be dead.[thumbdown]

We have that too in the states, but that's Veteran's Day. Memorial Day is more about honoring and remembering those who have died in the line of duty, and Veterans Day is about honoring the veterans.

Yeah we call in Rememberance Day and it pretty much puts it all together instead of having it on two different days. I guess many countries find signicance in that date tho since it marked the end of the world war.

I'm not sure I'm following your logic.
