Default Need new mobile phone suggestion
After almost 2 years my SE W880i has finally decided to give up the ghost (it keeps turning itself off randomly - all the time - and its darn annoying).

So it looks like I'm in the market for a new phone. My key considerations are:

- Size. Simply put, the smaller and thinner the better. This is critical.
- Battery life. Should be able to handle days of 2-3hrs plus of making and receiving calls, being charged 1-2 times per week ideally.
- Must have bluetooth - so I can sync a headset with it.
- Good, responsive menu system. I have quite a lot of numbers stored on there.
- Oh, and did I mention size?

I don't need it to surf the internet, play music and video or anything like that. I just need it for making and receving calls, and texts - thats about it. A simple PC connection (without crappy software) would be nice, but not essential.

Suggestions and recommendations are greatly appreciated! Whatever phone I get I'll pick up simlock free, and drop my work T-mobile sim into it.

Well seeing as your coming from such a thin fone then the C902 would be perfect.

I have a Nokia 6300 which I use as a second backup phone as it is unlocked and my main phone isn't.

Small, slim, light and has bluetooth. Would be ideal.

I just picked up an E71 for myself and it is, quite simply, a piece of sex. It does more than you want and the cost might be accordingly higher than you would like but it's an absolutely astonishing piece of kit, and I upgraded from an E61i. I thought it would be an incremental change but the E71 far exceeded my expectations.

My only beef is that it's a finger print magnet!

It might be something for you to consider. Meets your requirements and might be suitable for you to grow into.

I use the E71 as well and it is a brilliant phone, but seeing as Chris said size was an issue, I suggested the E51.
