Default Mocha's new six-string
What do you think? I traded in my Ibanez Jem (didn't fit my personality anymore, and the floating tremelo was a terror when changing strings or using alternate tunings). And I decided to start the new year off right, with this bad girl:

It's an Alpine White Gibson Les Paul Studio with gold hardware. A real Gibson Les Paul, made in the USA, not the Epiphone knock-off. This baby has the voice of an angel. I can't wait to show my bandmates

What do you guys think?

Yo know i can´t say alot about an inanimate "thing",
How about you bring it to life,
and then i´ll say if it rocks or sucks ?

LOL.

Sorry if this seems off-topic, but I read the thread title as "Mocha's new sex-string" [rofl]

Beautiful classic guitar can't really go wrong there ... I really have been wanting to get back into playing a guitar and will prob get one soon. I use to have a Les Paul but I sold it. It wasn't as nice as that one though.

Great choice. I have played a couple of different les pauls and while they sound awesome, they just dont feel right to me. Always feel like I am fighting to keep the neck down while I am playing. Just too heavy for my tastes. But I have to admit, if I could afford one, I would buy one.

I went out the other night with the intentions of trading in my vox ad100 head, and trying to get a new tube head, but ended up coming home with a bass guitar instead. I had borrowed a buddies bass for about a year, and since he took it back I have found myself missing it. Now i have to save up enough money for a bass amp. I guess a cheap practice amp will have to get me by. dont have the cash to blow on anything too fancy.

You know, technically Gibson LPs are knockoffs of Epiphone.

Very nice, but personally for me it's either LP standard/custom or nothing at all.

For the price of a studio I'd get the LTD Eclipse EC-1000 instead, but that's more metal orientated than the Gibson.

Yeah, I don't really play metal and I can't afford a standard or custom. But I am quite happy with the LP Studio. The tone is warm and the neck plays as smooth as butter [thumbup]
