"Get ready for Miley Cyrus, Serious Actress. Miley Cyrus is ready to leave her Hannah Montana/Miley Stewart alter ego in the dust and begin tackling more challenging roles — beginning with a part in the upcoming sequel to The Dark Knight."

First of all, Batgirl in The Caped Crusader?[cursing] bad Idea. Secondly, Miley Cyrus? That girl off Hannah Montana, no offense but im not sure she would even be right for such a dark role im sure Batgirl would have to play in this type of movie. Now dont get me wrong, she may be able to do it but im just no 100% convinced at this point. Either way and ill say it again Batgirl in The Caped Crusader?[cursing] bad Idea

I don't think it's actually confirmed that she got it, just that she wants it. I doubt it will happen. You can't put someone in tight latex if the majority of men can't publicly admit to enjoying the view.

She might do the role ok .. Hard to say really. Alot depends on who she's introduced as. Can't be Gordon's daughter since it's not in the right timeline, and she was a woman (which Miley isn't) so hmm. From what I remember there were several batgirls thru-out the ages so hard to say. Unless ofcourse they totally re-invent the charachter.

I am sure she'd have no problem with the normal identity but alot would depend on what she's like in the cotume.. Regardless, I am sure who ever they cast will do well. Since the new series isn't really meant to be campy.

I'd be more interested in who they'd cast as the catwoman and would have expected her to make a apearance first... as that's a more dark and slightly twisted role. Plus with no current love interest now would be the time to bring her onboard.

To be honest, that's what I'm afraid of. The examples of otherwise normal-seeming people getting sucked up into the celebrity world and becoming tabloid caricatures.....
