They really screwed the pooch with this one with going with the guy they did for agent 47. I mean damn, jason statham would have been perfect for this but nooooo! lol.

NO. Don't go see it. They took what could have been a great movie IMHO, and completely screwed it over. It's like that one cover band for the final countdown.
Compare the Original to the Cover, which is like comparing the video games to the movie

I love the games but honestly have no desire to see this movie.

Well the movie was ok, it starts off good but then he [spoiler] falls in love (admittedly she is very fine though) but still...he's a born to kill!

The games are great, but rather dark... I see they cast a baby-faced actor for the lead role and threw in a love interest for good measure. I'll give this one a miss.

For a video game movie I was damn impressed. For an actual movie, it was average.

Felt like they tried to cross Mission Impossible style "the **** is going on" storytelling with Bourne Identity style love interest and video game style "shoot things constantly". Honestly they did a decent job, but the movie feels crammed and a lot of it is left to your imagination. Where did these random guys come from? Shut up and watch this sweet fight scene.

As for the main character, in most scenes he plays the part well, I can think of a few distinct scenes where his acting is downright bad, like he's playing a different character.

From the perspective of a video gamer, I give the movie a 4 out of 5.

Also, there are lots and lots of bald guys in this movie.

My girlfriend went to go see it and she said that it was AWESOME. Even the people that she went with. Though with me playing and loving the game, Hitman from the sounds of it and even the previews, I don't care about it because it doesn't seem like it is Hitman at all.

Plus it looks like there is too much action. He is supposed to be Hitman, but it just seems a little James Bondish to me.


Plus the romance kind of ruiens it. I know that it is a major part of what makes up a movie these days, but come one, its hitman! Of all people not him!
