This is a frigging joke, the AUSTRALIAN touch judge guy didnt give us a try (sour apples for beating them in 2003 AND in the quarter finals?) and now the frigging IRISH referee is not giving ANYTHING to England, S.Africa have been offside and had plenty of knock-ons not given yet whenever England go near the ball he's blowing for no reason. He's got good eyes when he wants to use them ... in other words, he's asleep when S.Africa are on the ball!!!!!!!!

IRISH & AUSTRALIAN ... Why not two countries that DONT hate England? frigging joke!

That was priceless.. was pissing myself!

Good game though, that (definite) try didn't really matter I guess in the end.

It could've changed the whole game, not to mention all those offsides, knock-ons and blocks that S.Africa were allowed to get away with. Rediculous!

You mean the touch judge that was Australian that obviously couldnt overcome his hate for England beating them in the final last time, or in the 1/4 finals when disallowing an England try... shame.

You know, for a moment I thought I'd have to put some effort in finding evidence but you were very generous today.

LOL @ 3dfx. I knew driving into work there would be a thread by moaning about the refs. Where I was watching the game, we saw tons of missing knock-on and offised by the English that weren't called. Its just the way the sport goes. You only see the penalties that you want to see and your own team can do no wrong. Toby Flood should have been given a penalty for pushing Percy into that camera. I hope he gets cited for that. His response showed what a class player he is.

Anyways, congrats to S.A. Now, if only we can keep politics out of the game we can maybe win the next one too...

Dirty Tricks Toby Flood was given the award for the worst sportmanship by the International Rugby Board at it's award-winning function on Sunday evening in France, where the Springsboks were given the award for the best international team, Jake White the award for the best coach, and Brian Habana the award for the best player of the year.

In future a new version of the national anthem will be sung when the Roses play against any international tem: "God save the Team."
And now it can be revealed why England lost - thanks to it's secret weapon:
