Default A Hard Decision
hello everyone,
I will be getting my permit this coming May and my full licence in November. Heres my delema. My parents are thinking of getting a Mini Cooper S Covert. Steptronic for work and stuff and in a little while that will be my 1st car. The other chocie, they say, is to wait a while and see how the new Freelander turns out and get that sometime next year but in most basic spec. What should i do. The Mini Cooper is a great car and it would be cool to have my own car soo soon (we can pick it up in March) but i want to know if the next FL will be worth it. But im also sceptical about 1st year problems and seeing as how the Discovery 3 took a major price leap, i expect the FL will do the same (i kno i will want to get everything i can). What do yall think?
thanx in advance
joe

well, the mini should undoubtedly be cheaper, but the freelander will be alot roomier. i think you should probably get the mini now/soon instead of wait for the FL.

Seriously, why don´t you buy a Tigra? The only drawback I see is that the interior is the same of the Corsa, but with the money you've saved you can tweaked really great....

I'd get the Mini, becasue not only does it get much better gas mileage than the Freelander, but it is also cheaper, will not rollover like the Freelander, not to mention it will be much easier to park. Also, I've heard that Land Rover quality has not been the greatest lately...
