Hey everyone...I am in the market for a new phone...prefferably a smart phone ...I was looking at the MPX220 but I was wondering what you guys think...any recommendations or advice would be great...

i got a t-mobile sidekick 2 for christmas today and ITS SICKKK lol
but on the topic of smartphones cnet.com has the best cell reviews, with video and everything. I would recommend the Audiovox SMT5600, its an amazing deal for the price

it could have the kitchen sink too, but at the end of the day youre still stuck on T-Mo, which is imo the worst carrier in existence. i was stuck with them for twelve painful months of dropped calls, blackouts, and crap coverage. cancelled my contract the day it was up.
in theory though, the sidekick is pretty bad ass.
nick, what carrier are you currently with?
i think the new vodafone blackberry looks really interesting.

thats what everyone tells me, ive had tmobile for a year and I think im the only person thats happy with its service. The call quality is awesome, I always have service, and it has some of the sweetest phones available. The only drawback is that sometimes a second call doesnt get through but thats all.

Well Motorola and apple are working togheter on a phone. it should be swown on 10th januray. look at apple.com

thats because you live in nj, my mom used to have it and other than nj their really isnt much coverage in the rest of the us

But the Motorola RAZR looks like a great phone; it has all the gadgets and the Alu casing makes it feel really great. Although I'm doubting about the camera.

ihave cingular/att...i have researched the razr...and while it is a pretty cool looking phone, thats about all it is...it is very overpriced...the mpx220 is just as good if not better in ever single way...the hinge is somewhat flimsy, everything gets fingerprints on it very easily and the keypad isnt the greatest, though it is kinda neat...but i dont really recommend it...i will look out for that apple/motorolo phone though...the mpx220 uses the new version of windows mobile 2003 which i heard still isnt that great...so it will be interesting to see what apple can do with motorola...i am still kind of fixated on the mpx220...it does everything i want/need and it is reasonable...so if anyone knows of anything else comparable which is on the att/cingular network, you just may be able to persuade me...the sidekick does seem like a cool phone, but like i said...i'm on cingular/att...

have a Siemens CX65 and it's great. recommend you M65 or S65 however.

Your joking! Blody hell, mum just got me an iPod photo and some Motorola phone thats worth like 600 A dollars! Geeeez, if this phone is any good ill sell my ipod and phone on ebay!
