Enjoyed tonight's episode. I think it's a good series. Despite some comments on IMDb to the contrary think it gets quite exciting, especially towards the end of the episodes.

TBH it's nothing like Flash Forward. The only thing the two series have in common is information from the future; apart from that they're completely different.

Default Paradox, Tonight 9pm BBC1
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00p4qnz

Dr Christian King, a world-renowned astrophysicist, claims to have received a series of images from space. The images show fragments of an event, an explosion in which many are killed. Shockingly, Dr King claims the disaster is yet to happen. It will take place in 18 hours time.
Is this an elaborate warning of a terrorist attack, or could it be something else? Uncertain, DI Rebecca Flint and her team investigate Dr King and the images. But as the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle come together, it becomes clear that this is a chain of events which no person could possibly predict or plan.
With time running out a tragedy drawing closer DI Flint begins to contemplate the impossible - that the images might not be a coded warning or an elaborate threat, but a genuine glimpse of the future. Looks interesting. I think I'll give it a watch.

I think we should inform those that are unaware of this program that it is a Sci-Fi show... not a news show.

Bit of a surprise they didn't stop the explosion; I expected them to stop it just in the nick of time. That's the way these things usually work.

I think the next 4 episodes would have been a bit poor if they did.

British TV programmes tend to have short seasons compared to US ones. If anything US ones are sometimes too long so they have to pad with "filler" episodes like those ones where the entire episode consists of clips of previous shows.

But most US shows are cancelled either halfway through or at the end of the first season

I thought the program looked alot like flashforward from the ads, but a lesser version. Flashforward is great[thumbup]

But would you still hit on her - in a darkened room, perhaps?

NOooo!
More that think it's real the better!
Few years back, a friend turned on the TV and it was one where a real American reporter, that he recognised, was 'reporting on some major disaster in America! He didn't realise it was a movie and came rushing over, telling us all to turn on the TV - he was quite embarrassed when he realised it was just some movie!
