Learning the Strings
 
So, recently iv'e taken an interest in playing electric guitar. Im a total rookie with it, but I am currently learning the basics, and attempting to learn one of my favorite songs at the same time.

I have a Lyon guitar by Washburn

So, anyone with guitar experience want to give me any tips? Im I trying to play a too difficult song? Do I have a decent guitar? Blah blah etc etc.
