Default HELP FOR AN OLD CSS FRIEND
Well guys, some of you might remember CPWerks / Cadillac Pimpin / elvisinyoface. Yes he is the administrator at PSU if you were wondering. He hasn't posted lately on CSS, as his site takes all his time and he has taken particular interest in photoshoping instead of new cars and so on.

Well guys, he is in trouble, and as a friend, I feel the need to contribute to him by whatever means I can. I myself am in no position to personally help just yet, but I'm working on it. But I am spreading the word, and hopefully some of you may help.
Guys, please have a look at the link below, and if you can contribute, It would be greatly appreciated.
http://photoshopedup.com/forum...&id=6
Cheers guys, thanks for your time, and hope you give it a thought.
EDIT: For your information, this thread and its link has been allowed prior to posting by a moderator.

Just wanted to drop by and say that I'm still here. Everything you said is right mate, but one thing you messed up on is when you said that i have been out of CSS lately...
I've stoped posting but i've been looking around and informing everyone about new stuff that is coming out etc...for long. Trust me.
anyway, I apologize for whatever i've done...

Lurker now ey!
For information, CP helped me before in here, everywhere. Now I help him with whatever I can, which is only spreading the word at the moment.
Thanks for anything you can do at all guys (@css members).

Sadly, all the help I can lend are prayers for luck to head your way, CPWerks. I lack the financial resources (nor the means to finantially contribute).

likewise, not going through great times myself at the mo (though nothing like that bad)
It may not be perfect and everyone always complains about it but thank god for the NHS
Would you be able to get sponsred to dosomething to help with the payment, I don't know what kind of thing but almost anything would do. There should be people at college who'd be able to help with that sort of thing

CPWerks, do you know of any lawyer that you can get some info on? There are laws in every state that protect those in the lower/no income brackets. Do you think those from public housing (projects) actually pays for hospital visits like child birth? Nope.
Also, the hospital must work with you in order to pay the bill(s). A hospital or clinic can set you up for long term monthly billing with no interest and no extra fees.
Personally, I feel that the healthcare in the US is one of the worst in the world. Doctors want a million dollors per stitch. But can we fully blame them? Super high costs of schooling and the added affects of law suits against them add to the cost. Basicly, a long life will cost you, how long do you want to live is the same question as how much money do you have.
Good luck.

OK, I asked some people about this. Go back to the hopital and ask about "Charity Care". It's a program based on income. You should have no problem as you're still in collage with a side job.

Well, thanks COZZ and all others. I Appreacite the support. And I'll see what I can do with the Charity Thing. I just hope that that will work, otherwise, I'll have to end up getting a loan, and paying about $600-800 just for the bill, plus the car payment, insurance, and much more stuff. Allthough parents ARE here to help me, this I still consider a big ass bill. I mean, they have their own credit cars etc to pay off. Friendswise...Well, I do have friends but I cant depend on them, to me they are just as "friend" as you guys are. And family wise..Well, all my family except parents are back in my country, which is bosnia, which I am assuming they will send me back to, if i dont pay the bill on time, rather then putting me in jail. the reason for that is that i still dont have my citizenship here, i'm still on green cars, so i am trying my best to get that citizenship sooner or later, cause I'll need it. Again, thannks everyone. Total money donated is about $90 from all members on all forums. If you can spread ths word around I'd appreacite it even more. Thanks guys.

Although I sympathize with your problem, most of the members here do not post on PSU, and more really don't know you. Perhaps then you can understand why they are reluctant to donate.

I won't donate because there is no real need. Donations won't even make a 10th of what he needs. What he needs to do is go back to the hospital and sign up for certain paper work.

I'm really sorry about your problem. My mum has recently had breast cancer and it is a difficult enough time to be going through any serious illness without the problem of footing the bill for the healthcare. I'm glad that you're felling better, though and I hope that you find a swolution to your problem. I do have one suggestion... How about you sell PSU, rather than close it down? It would mean that all your members have the same board, and you also get some money, and save money on hosting + domain, rather than just closing down PSU and getting no cash. Just a thought...
