Hello everyone-

I am an African-American book editor in search of stories, and essays describing the experiences of African-Americans while traveling abroad. I personally would love to add a whole chapter on DR. Ive been reading this forum for quite some time now. So much great info!

I am especially interested in stories from first time international travelers, college students, and those who travel for business. Our goal is to collect a group of stories that will accurately reflect how African-Americans have experienced locations in DR and to create a useful tool for future travelers.

Also, I know there are many African-Americans that are presently living in DR. I would love to chat with some of you.
