I'm not sure how many of you have heard about this, but Mark Turner severely injured a couple of his fingers with a power saw requiring emergency surgery. I sure hope he's OK.

that happened a while ago, I read somewhere that the surgery went very well. Power saws and musicians don't always mix well. I almost took off a couple of fingers using an analogue saw. I hope we hear Mark playing again soon.

I had F.L.Y with Mark Turner booked for a date in April and of course when his tragic accident happened the date was cancelled. I can tell you however that I got a call a week before xmas from their manager asking if we could try to save the date because Mark was progressing very rapidly. Unfortunately the date cannot be saved but I thought I should pass this story along because it would seem that things are looking up.
