If you can get in touch with Ruben Mateo, the head of the Taxi Union in upper Manhattan??? He is in the news all the time...Also, there are some dominican City Councilmen from Santo Domingo North (Alto Manhattan)..Just ottomh?

Anybody in the NYC area able to hunt down a taxi driver originally from Sábana Iglesia in the DR? His name is Jose Maria Cabrera. Don't know his mom's name.
He would be in his 50's, probably. He was a family friend when we lived in Santiago, made it to New York in the 80's. I think.
Anybody got any connections?
