I've played with it a few times in the store and though it worked well and looked nice. Main reason I wouldn't get it though is because of the lack of apps. Plus i love my Xperia Play to much. lol

The OS is great for smart phones i like loads of its features (i used to love my old HD2) and its a big jump in how it 'feels' to use compared to 6.5 but sadly i still think lacks a lot of app support?

That it does. I am not really an "app" person anyways so it doesn't really affect me. Most, if not all the more important apps are available on it though. Strangely enough though, there isn't a first party yahoo messenger app.
I do use MSN too and what's cool about that is it integrates with your contact list. So say im having a conversation with someone via text, i can switch right over the msn and still continue the conversation and so can the other person.

WP7 is nice and smooth but has some real issues:

1) Text size cannot be adjusted in contacts list or text messages. It is always too small so if you have bad eyesight can be difficult to see

2) Default search is BING and it is a pain to change it to google or custom

3) Adjusting MMS settings is impossible so using MMS on some networks such as Giffgaff is difficult

4) Lack of apps compared to IOS and Android

With all that in mind, WP7 is not the right OS for me personally...

Android on my SGS2 is pretty smooth. Everything is hardware accelerated and most of the time everything is like butter even on my crapped out phone. I love the way it allows me to share my content into any app installed without issues. I love how I can stream and play back any filetype including High bitrate MKV files directly from my NAS. I also love the fact I can unzip RAR files and access folders directly on my phone. IOS and WP7 have real issues with these.

Simply put I have tried most OS now, I had a Palm pre- and a Pre 2 for a couple of years. Tried WP7, Ios and most recently Android and have decided on what is right for me! Older Android phones though are just too laggy for me and SGS2 is literally the first phone to be buttery smooth from the google camp.
