What about the North East?

Anyone else notice the flooding in the NE? Over a week straight of rain and 10 dead. Sure NJ is the armpit of america but the fact that theres 6 feet of water in some parts isnt a good thing.

Yes, and there is another big storm off shore.

I have never figured out why people build in flood zones and on the side of cliffs.

I certainly noticed it. Spent three nights in Boston and eight in Vermont - worst dang vacation weather I ever saw! And we missed the worst of it...

Still had a good time time though. It's nice to be in the land of good hotels and quality restaurants, not to mention the favourable exchange rate.

My thoughts are with any Dumb readers in Florida - batten down the hatches, there's a big one heading your way. Hope it all works out for y'all.

I'm not by the Ocean, not that stupid. Looks like it is going to hit the keys and Miami again.

There's an old South Bay [Lost Angels County "South Bay"] saying that goes:

"If you're lucky enough to live west of Pacific Coast Highway... You're lucky enough."
