Football game that is. I am really excited. I am getting married Sept. 7th, and I got a pair of tickets to a football game for her wedding present.
She has never been to a football game before. Baseball, Arena Football, and Basketball have been it for her so far. I have been to like 10 games maybe myself, We are going to the Titans vs. Cardinals Nov. 29th. Titans have a pretty boring schedule this year. This looks like it is going to be the most exciting game, but at least we will be there! I hope that it is cold or a little chilly. I wanted to push it further into December, but the games didn't look quiet as good. Anyone know about how much moneys I should take? We won't be buying any alcohol. I figured $30 for gas round trip, $25 for some good parking and then spending cash on games and food. I figure on saving up $200 for this event. I want to get there about 2 hours early. I have never been to a game in Nashville, so I am not sure what kind of pre-game activities they have going. The ones that I have been too are pretty fun though. Anyways, I got them off of ebay for $5 off of face value and that included the over night shipping! We are up top of the 3 level, though fairly down low, so we aren't like on the very very top. I think they also put us on about the 35yd line. For the price of the tickets, these were the best sets and have a great view. Most of the other ones were 10yd. line to behind the goal posts which aren't the best of seats. |

Not sure what Titans tailgate parties are like, but the ones in Pittsburgh are insane. You can just walk around and everyone will try to get you to eat their food for free. But I wouldn't count on that happening anywhere else, as the people in Pittsburgh are so friendly it's like an alien culture.
![]() You'll have fun, that should be a good game. The Titans offense should be firing and they recently acquired Nate Washington at WR from the Steelers, but hopefully their defense doesn't suffer too much from losing DT Albert Haynesworth to the Redskins. Arizona should be nice & physical on defense, but not sure how their offense will look. Definitely two contenders though. Have fun! [thumbup] |
